Bob Monsour
Prior to relocating to San Rafael in the summer of 2009, Bob served for three years as the Associate Director of Princeton University’s Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education. Prior to joining Princeton, Bob was a private investor in early-stage technology companies, and was a founding member of the Jumpstart New Jersey Angel Network. Bob serves on the board of Metaverse, Inc., an internet retailer.
Bob also served as an executive officer in two publicly held technology companies: Stac, Inc., the maker of the Stacker disk compression software, popular in the early 90's, which Bob co-founded, and Hifn, Inc. a fabless semiconductor supplier specializing in compression and encryption chips. Bob’s operational experience has included product development, sales & marketing, and mergers & acquisitions.
Bob also served for eight years on the Board of Trustees at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart, an independent boys school. Bob received a B.A.S. and M.A.S. in computer science from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA from UCLA.
